Alpesh “Al” Patel

Principal

Al Patel is a Financial Services Professional who is truly passionate about his clients and helping them create fully customized financial plans for their future. For nearly 15 years, his practice has been based on the needs of his clients and making sure they get the highest level of planning. He excels because he offers the utmost level of honesty and integrity, and is truly passionate about creating strategies designed to fit his clients’ needs rather than generic planning.

Al is a Member Agent of The Nautilus Group®, a service of New York Life, and specializes in working with affluent individuals, families, and business owners on business, estate and charitable planning objectives. He provides his clients with state-of-the-art planning strategies and customized case analyses designed to enable clients to meet their goals, challenges, opportunities, and of course, dreams. After achieving a thorough understanding of a client’s particular issues, Al utilizes his resources at The Nautilus Group® and his many other national resources to begin to:

  • Examine legal documents.
  • Present and project client’s current situation.
  • Quantify planning alternatives.
  • Provide clarity to financial situations.
  • Suggest alternative strategies that may get the client closer to their goals.
  • Research and assess current legal issues.
  • Provide product suggestions as needed.
  • Review business succession, exit planning, and executive benefits.

The one-on-one case design process used by Nautilus is tailored to the unique requirements of each client, achieving a better understanding of the complex needs and goals of each individual.

Prior to entering the financial services industry, Al graduated from the University of South Alabama worked as a General Manager at his family’s hotel. In his free time, Al enjoys celebrating all milestones in life with his family, friends and clients. He is married to Meena and they have two girls, Aleena and Melissa.

Roshni Desai

Director of Operation / Administrative Operations

Roshni Desai has been with Alpesh Patel since 2004. Within the office Roshni fills many roles including the processing of application, ordering of Exams and medical records for clients, maintaining and providing underwriting status to agent and clients and preparing policies to deliver to clients. She also brings expertise, knowledge and diplomacy in troubleshooting and delivering solutions to advance service issues.

Being fluent in English & Gujarati, she works closely with clients to ensure a clear understanding, with confidentiality and professionalism so they feel welcome. She brings great care to our clients and helps make the planning and implementation process easy and enjoyable.

Currently, Roshni resides in Daphne, AL, with her husband Rupesh and their daughter Rianna.

Meena Patel

Marketing and Administration

Meena joined our team in 2013, bringing over 20 years of sales, marketing and management experience to our office. Meena handles the customer service and marketing departments for our office. In addition to assisting management with administrative functions and managing correspondences, Meena works in the scheduling and time management department.

She is married to Alpesh and together they have two daughters, residing in Mobile, AL over 20 years.
